Citation Policy & Reprint License Guidelines
All research, frameworks, and content created by Strategic Horizon ("Research") is intended for use by our clients. These guidelines govern how our Research may be cited, quoted, and used in external materials.
Overview
- All use of Strategic Horizon research and products (data and graphics) is subject to our review and approval
- Strategic Horizon reviews all external citation requests on a case-by-case basis
- Strategic Horizon reserves the right to change these guidelines at any time
- Strategic Horizon reserves the right to deny any citation request for any reason
What Requires a Reprint License?
Publicly Available Research
Research that is accessible without login credentials is considered publicly available. This research can be freely linked to from your website, social media, and external materials without requiring a reprint license.
Premium or Restricted Research
Research that requires login to access is considered restricted. Any quotation, reproduction, or distribution of restricted research requires a reprint license from Strategic Horizon. This includes:
- Partial quotes or excerpts in marketing materials
- Full reproductions or distributions
- Use in press releases, advertisements, or sales collateral
- Use in SEC filings or legal documents
What Requires Strategic Horizon Approval?
All external or commercial citations of our Research require written approval, including:
- Use in advertisements, press releases, and sales materials
- Use in SEC filings or legal documents
- Distribution of full or partial Research reproductions
- Use of Strategic Horizon logos, trademarks, or service marks
- Any third-party distribution or promotion of our content
When in doubt, request approval. If you are uncertain whether a particular use requires approval, contact us before proceeding.
How to Request Approval

Include in your request:
- Full citation and context of the intended use
- Draft copy of any press releases, marketing materials, or publications
- Whether your organization is an existing Strategic Horizon client
- Specific research title, publication date, and any relevant analyst names
- Complete mockups or drafts showing where the citation will appear
We typically respond to citation requests within 5 business days.
Citation Guidelines
Proper attribution should include Strategic Horizon name, research title, and publication date. Example format:
"According to Strategic Horizon's 2026 research on AI Transformation Strategy, enterprises should focus on three key pillars..."
Graphics and data from our Research may only be reproduced with:
- Strategic Horizon copyright notice intact
- Original title and publication date displayed
- No modification or alteration of data
- Link to Strategic Horizon website (when possible)
Restrictions on Use
You may not:
- Modify, edit, or alter Strategic Horizon research or data
- Remove or obscure Strategic Horizon attribution or copyright notices
- Present Strategic Horizon research as your own original work
- Use Strategic Horizon content in a misleading or out-of-context manner
- Create derivative works or analyses based on our Research without permission
